I do not want to leave my bottle of Chanel perfume in my suitcase so am I allowed to take it in carry-on?Am I allowed to take a glass perfume bottle on a plane?
The others that said that it must be 3.0 oz are correct, but in order to bring it on the plane. It must also be in a quart-size ziplock plastic bag. Thats the most important also it helps if the bottled is labled for amount that it holds.
Work for the AirlinesAm I allowed to take a glass perfume bottle on a plane?
The airline will have plastic ziploc bags of the right size.
Flew less than a week ago. Report Abuse
You could get a smaller perfume container/atomizer and transfer some into it, enough for your trip and your bottle would be safe at home. Report Abuse
If it is less than a 3 oz. bottle. If it is larger than 3oz they will make you throw it away, even if there is less than 3 oz of liquid in the bottle.
if it is more than 3oz it will be taken from you
You may take your perfume in your carry-on if the BOTTLE holds 3 oz or less. All of the liquids or gels that you have in your carry-on must be able to fit in a single 1 quart-size plastic zipper bag (per person).
Make sure you pack the zipper bag containing your liquids somewhere accessible in your carry-on. You will need to remove it during the security screening and place it in a separate bin. See the TSA website for more information.
Only if it is less than 3 oz. If it is larger, you may have to throw it away (which would be a waste). I would seal it in a freezer bag, then wrap it in a t-shirt for cushioning and check it in your suitcase. You could also look for trial size bottles that are smaller than 3 oz.
probly not. youd probly have more luck keeping it in your case.i tryed to take some frozen breastmilk on the plane and they wouldnt let me. duhhhh....... its frozen what the hell am i gonna do with frozen milk, make a bomb. lol, just kidding.
Check it in and make sure it's lodged well between clothes and more clothes. I'm sure it'll be fine.
It depends on what airline you're flying but most likely not. With the large ban awhile back, you weren't able to take bottles on board with you. But if you contact your airline and ask them, I'm sure they'd be willing to help in some way.
