How do i get the smell out of an old perfume bottle so i can re use it?

i finished this little plastic bottle of perfume i like to carry around with me and i wanna re fill it with a different perfume but the smell from the other perfume is still in the bottle and i don't want the smells to mix. what should i do?How do i get the smell out of an old perfume bottle so i can re use it?

Rubbing alcohol will break down the perfume oils and clean it. Just shake it a few times and rinse with water. Putting it in the dishwasher probably won't work, since it cannot clean inside a perfume bottle that easily.
